UNDER URET
Danish Rakkerpak (DK)
50 - 60 Minutes
From 6 years old
Under uret exhibits in a humorous, moving, poetic and absurd way people's strange encounters - all the awkward situations where we try to meet, are involuntarily thrown into a meeting or discreetly try to avoid meeting. The meeting between people is one of the things we depend on the most. At the same time, getting in touch with each other and having equal meetings can be one of the most difficult things for us.
Under Uret unfolds at a station and consists of a mosaic of encounters between people who are either under the clock or passing by for very different reasons. Some are there to actually meet someone. Others are passing by to catch a train. Still others bump into each other by chance. In addition, there are all those who work at the station, have an errand there or have their regular routine at the station. The gallery of characters includes, among others, stressed commuters, busy business people, dirty backpackers, stressed parents, runaway children, Nordic walkers, train drivers, kiosk owners, craftsmen, cleaners, drunks, lonely existences, pickpockets, policemen and couples in love.
Under Uret is performed in Dansk Rakkerpak's comedic, physical and nonverbal style. The theatre's timed, musical and action-packed style, as always, puts things on edge and is laced with a good dose of humor.
